Joined Encon in 1994

As the Vice President of Residential Contracting, I lead the Residential Contracting Department which includes all residential construction and replacements.

In 1993, one of ENCON’s owners met with myself and my family to talk about the career I could have if I decided to join ENCON at a young age.  I decided to take their advice and jumped right in.  I started as a sheetmetal apprentice and from there my career at ENCON included roles as a lead installer, production coordinator, lead designer, project manager, sales engineer, sales manager, senior manager and eventually into my current role as VP and member of our Executive Team.  ENCON has provided me great opportunities and challenges to grow as a person and professional.    

My advice to someone entering the HVAC industry is to work hard, make mistakes and move on.  Always look for ways to self-improve and help others to succeed.  It’s not about you, it’s about others.

I find fulfillment helping others build their careers and overcome challenges to reach their full potential.  Mentoring and coaching is the most rewarding part of my role here at ENCON. Here I have learned to become an empathetic and humble leader.
